It is a thank-you written on the road.
Led by our flag sponsor, Kendall Auto Group, this mission was born from lived experience, second chances, and the belief that survival carries responsibility. Dedicated to the memory of D. Kowell and L. Orsini, Ride4LifeNW honors those lost to lack of awareness—and those still fighting to live.
Through a multi-day motorcycle sidecar journey across Oregon—accompanied by certified service dog Gnocchi—we connect communities, hospitals, donor families, veterans, shelters, and everyday people around one shared truth:

Mission #1 -- Securing Life When It Hangs In the Balance
For many transplant patients, the greatest barrier is not medical—it is financial.
Even when a donor is found and a hospital is ready, patients are often denied approval because they cannot guarantee post-transplant stability. Ride4LifeNW exists to remove that barrier.
Our primary goal is to secure a $25,000 post-transplant support fund for each qualified recipient. This is not symbolic—it is functional, protected, and life-enabling.

Mission #2 -- No Dogs Left Behind
For many patients, a pet is family.
During long hospital stays, pets are too often surrendered—not from neglect, but necessity. Ride4LifeNW steps in to ensure that never happens.
We provide free temporary care, including:
When recovery comes, families are reunited. And when reunification isn’t possible, we make a promise:
No dog is ever left alone.
We foster as long as needed and partner with trusted rescues to ensure every animal finds a permanent, loving home.
Because healing should never require loss.
Mission #3 -- Healing Through Connection and Awareness
Medicine saves lives.
Connection heals hearts.
Our certified service dog, Gnocchi, visits patients during treatment to provide comfort, calm, and a reminder that they are not alone. His presence opens conversations, eases anxiety, and creates moments of peace when they matter most.
For patients separated from their pets, we also provide:
A living bridge between hospital walls and home.
