Let’s be real.
People don’t lose their second chance at life in surgery.
They lose it right after.
You can have a donor.
A surgical team ready.
Everything lined up.
And still get stopped.
Not because there’s no hope—
because there’s no money.
Because you can’t prove you’ll make it after they save you.

And still get stopped.
Not because there’s no hope—
because there’s no money.
Because you can’t prove you’ll make it after they save you.
Think about that.
You’re given a chance to live…
and then asked if you can afford to keep it.
That’s happening right now.
Recovery isn’t just medical.
It’s where you sleep.
Your medications.
Getting to appointments.
Surviving long enough to heal.
When that falls apart—everything does.
So we step in.
Our goal is simple:
$25,000 per person.
Not a donation that disappears.
A real safety net—right when it’s needed.
Housing.
Medication.
Transportation.
Basic living.
Because healing doesn’t happen if survival is still a question.
And honestly—this shouldn’t even be necessary.
But until the system catches up…
we become the system.
Because no one should hear:
“You could live—but you can’t afford it.”
We don’t wait.
We don’t look away.
We step in—when it matters most.

This isn’t a feel-good story.
I was on dialysis. Worn out.
Then the phone rang.
“A kidney is available. Get here now.”
No time to think. No time to plan.
You just go.
And everything gets left behind.
My dog included.
While I was in the hospital trying to stay alive…
he was going through the system.
Alone.
I tried to find him.

While I was in the hospital trying to stay alive…
he was going through the system.
Alone.
I tried to find him.
I couldn’t.
That doesn’t leave you.
So we made a decision:
No Dogs Left Behind.
When that call comes—we step in.
We take your dog in.
We keep them safe.
We take care of them like family.
Because they are.
So when you come back…
they’re still there.
And if you don’t—
we don’t walk away.
We stay until they’re safe and home.
Because nobody should fight to live
and lose their best friend in the process.
Not again.

So we ride.

It’s a call to action.

For the person in a hospital bed… listening to every beep.
For the one in a dialysis chair… waiting for the phone to ring.
For the one holding on… hoping something changes.
We ride for all of them.
Not with answers.
Just… presence.
A moment.
A conversation.
A reminder they’re not alone.
Because sometimes that’s enough to help someone hold on one more day.
This year—we ride across a state.
Next year—we go bigger.
Not for attention.
To make it impossible to look away.
Because this isn’t about awareness anymore.
It’s about action.
A decision.
A conversation.
A simple “yes” that can save a life.
My story… it’s not just mine.
And this ride?
It’s not just ours.
This is your call to action.

Ride4LifeNW will be at the Maupin Madness Motorcycle Madness 2026 because the motorcycle riding community understands that every mile traveled is a privilege that many patients waiting for a transplant do not have. Through our partnership with Riders and local communities and business, we are raising awareness for organ donation, supporting transplant patients and families, and promoting our “No Dog Left Behind” program. We are also sharing the story of Max, Gnocchi, and Kalinka as they prepare for an ambitious Guinness World Record motorcycle expedition to inspire hope, resilience, and conv
